The Institute of Internal Auditors Papua New Guinea (IIA PNG) proudly presents the Inaugural Pacific International Conference 2025, under the inspiring theme “One Pacific, One Profession: Strengthening Internal Audit for Regional Impact.”
Scheduled for 24–26 November 2025 at APEC Haus, Port Moresby, this landmark event will bring together internal audit professionals, thought leaders, and policymakers from across the Pacific. The three-day conference aims to build a unified regional network focused on advancing audit excellence, governance, and accountability.
Building a Stronger Pacific Through Audit Excellence
The conference will highlight the crucial role internal auditors play in driving transparency and resilience across Pacific institutions. Through keynotes, workshops, and discussions, participants will explore emerging challenges and opportunities in digital transformation, risk management, cybersecurity, sustainability, and public sector reform.
Day 1 will feature a panel on “Strengthening Regional Collaboration for Sustainable Internal Audit Excellence” and the signing of an MoU between IIA PNG and IIA Australia, a milestone partnership symbolizing regional unity in professional growth.
